Hi Terry,

You’re so right. I wasn’t thinking manipulative sleazy sales copywriting! I do think that sometimes our readers need “help” to get to the goal that is really best for them. They’re looking for solutions but often lover-look what’s right under their noses because the value hasn’t been expressed clearly enough!

Good solid post. My thoughts while reading were about copywriting being about successful communication. So often the term copywritng is associated with manipulative and misleading sales copy. Wereas the copywriting that I believe you were referring too and I aspire too, is successfully conveying to the reader the full passion and worth of the topic, giving our product it’s due justice, eloquently. Thank you for your gifts.

Right on the money! This is one of those great excuses for me, “If only I had more Leads I would be successful” Well……I appreciate this post because it reminded me to slow down and not see leads as numbers, but people and possibly future partners in something greater then me alone. I had the thought while reading, if I could even just connect with one person a day, on a real level, then the quality of my relationships would naturally show in my business.

Thank you Mike! There’s nothing magic to my “success,” I’ve just simply applied what I’ve learn and followed the great teachers like Ty who willingly share their knowledge to help others! (I say “success” because I’ve certainly not achieved my goals yet!)
